1. Subject

FoxDesk is a free remote support tool for desktop sharing and help from a distance. The software is developed as a hobby project and is intended to be continued as long as this is technically and organizationally possible.

2. Use

FoxDesk may only be used with the consent of the people involved and only for lawful support purposes. Anyone granting another person access is responsible for checking whether that person is trustworthy.

3. Consent and remote access

A connection may only be established if the person at the target device consciously allows access or voluntarily shares the required connection details. Hidden monitoring, unauthorized control, manipulation of third-party systems, or other misuse is prohibited.

4. User responsibility

Users are responsible for protecting sensitive data during a session, closing programs that are not needed, and ending connections after support is finished. Passwords, credentials, and private contents should only be disclosed if truly necessary.

5. Availability

FoxDesk is provided free of charge. There is no claim to constant availability, specific functions, permanent server reachability, or error-free transmission. Maintenance, technical issues, further development, or misuse protection can temporarily restrict the website, downloads, updates, or connections.

6. Updates and changes

FoxDesk may be developed, improved, rebuilt, or temporarily restricted. Features may change, be added, or be removed when this is useful for stability, security, usability, or technical development.

7. Support reports

If users send a support report, technical diagnostic information is transmitted so errors can be analyzed more quickly. Details are described in the privacy policy.

8. Liability

Liability follows the applicable legal rules. Since FoxDesk is provided free of charge, use is at your own responsibility. Liability for intentional or grossly negligent behavior and for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health remains unaffected.
